Applying For A Ski Lease
Application Process

Complete Applications: Each adult who will be signing the ski lease must fully complete a rental application. The terms of the lease are the responsibility of those named on the lease. To ensure clarity and responsibility, we recommend including all adult members of your group on the lease.

Credit Report

Credit Report Requirement: A credit report is required for each applicant. You may either provide your own or request Sierra Luxury Properties to run one on your behalf.

Fee: If Sierra Luxury Properties runs the credit report, a non-refundable fee will apply.
Group Bio

Optional Bio Submission: While not required, a short bio of your group or family is appreciated. It helps our property owners know who is renting their home.
Submission Requirements

Complete Packet: Please submit all required documents (applications, bio, and credit reports) together in one email. Incomplete submissions may delay the processing of your application.

Lease Terms

Pets: Pets are only allowed with a signed pet addendum and explicit permission from the property owner.

Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all homes and anywhere on the property.

Hot Tub Maintenance: For homes with hot tubs, tenants are responsible for regular maintenance and an end-of-lease "dump n scrub." These costs must be prepaid before the lease begins.

Bear Safety: Due to the local bear population, all food and garbage must be securely stored. If the home has a bear fence, it must be armed whenever the home is vacant. Tenants are responsible for any bear break-ins if food is left out.

Snow Removal: Tenants are responsible for shoveling decks, bear bins, private hot tubs (if applicable), and walkways.
Lease Finalization

Lease Agreement: If your application is approved, a lease will be prepared for signature by both the owner and the renter.

Payment: Full payment of the lease is due 30 days prior to the lease start date.

Deposits: Security deposits will be refunded within 21 days after the lease end date. We highly recommend purchasing accidental damage insurance through Sierra Luxury Properties to protect your deposit.
End-of-Lease Requirements

Cleaning Services: Professional house cleaning and carpet cleaning will be scheduled by Sierra Luxury Properties at the end of the lease. These services are a tenant responsibility.
